The Association of Colleges (AoC) and the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) are hosting a series of joint, fully-funded, webinars on the role of the Further Education (FE) and Training sector in supporting the nation’s economic and education recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic.
The #SkillsLedRecovery series will discuss key topics with a range of expert speakers from across the FE system to support teachers, trainers, and leaders to meet the needs of our learners and communities as well as support Government policy.
On Wednesday 14 July at 2pm – 3:30 pm, the first #SkillsLedRecovery online webinar will take place focusing on education and economic recovery.
Book your place on the AoC’s website.
Vikki Smith, the ETF’s Director of Design and Development, said: “The ETF is pleased to partner with the AOC for the #SkillsLedRecovery webinars. The series has been designed to support the FE sector in responding to the indelible stain that Covid-19 has left behind.
“We look forward to opening up the conversation about education and the economy going forward, preparing for the coming academic year and the role of education technology in how we work. The series will discuss what have become new norms and expected ways of learning and teaching. We encourage all teachers, trainers and leaders across the sector to join the webinars and conversations.”
Future webinars will be hosted across September and October.
